How It All Began
Our Story
Where It Started
Chris and Paige's relationship began in the COVID era, where isolation was abound. They found each other in the most likeliest of places, Hinge. On a beautiful spring day, before the world shut down, Chris and Paige bonded over their shared love of life, experiences, and the pursuit of a better self.
Our People
Since the beginning of our relationship, our friends and family have held us down through the ups and downs of life. We've shared so many experiences with all of you that we have cherished throughout our relationship.
From massive charcuterie boards around a dinner table, dance marathons around the world, hikes to the top of mountains, and lazy beach days, through all of these adventures, the people beside us have made our story richer and more beautiful.
This Celebration Is for All of Us
Given this, we did not want this celebration of our wedding to be just focused on us, but rather be a celebration of the community that empowers us every day and helps us get through this ever-changing world, and a thank you to all the people who have joined us on our journey.

Casa del Sol is a sleek, modern home with clean lines and warm tones, and we want your outfit to match the energy. Lean into bold fall colors like deep emerald, burgundy, burnt orange, and sapphire; think jewel tones, rich floral patterns, and textured fabrics. The goal is stylish and a little unexpected, not costumey.
A note on weather: October in Valley Center means warm afternoons in the 80s during cocktail hour, cooling into the mid-60s as the sun sets. A light jacket, shawl, or stylish layer for the evening is a great call.

About the Area
Our celebration takes place at Casa Del Sol in the charming community of Valley Center, California, nestled in the rolling hills of northern San Diego County. Valley Center sits about 45 minutes northeast of downtown San Diego and is surrounded by the cities of Escondido (15 min), Temecula (30 min), and Oceanside (35 min).
The venue is approximately 45 miles from San Diego International Airport (SAN), roughly a 50-minute drive depending on traffic. We recommend renting a car for the most flexibility - all major rental agencies including Enterprise, Hertz, National, and Budget are available at SAN. Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are also available in the area, though response times can be longer in Valley Center.
While you are in the greater San Diego area, there is no shortage of things to do! From the world-famous San Diego Zoo Safari Park (just 20 minutes away) to the stunning beaches of La Jolla, the vibrant Gaslamp Quarter, and the craft brewery scene San Diego is known for - consider arriving early or staying a few extra days to explore.

San Diego International Airport (SAN) is the closest major airport, about 45 miles southwest of Valley Center.
Rental Cars
Enterprise, Hertz, National, Budget, and Avis are all available at SAN. We strongly recommend renting a car for the best experience.
Rideshare
Uber and Lyft operate in the area. Note that wait times may be longer in Valley Center, so plan ahead for your return trip.
